We are going to let you in on a little Husky Builders secret... one of the secrets to our success, is our systems and processes. They are uniquely created and adaptable for our industry and constantly evolving as this small town business grows.
This week, we wanted to share with you our Onboarding Process, which encompasses every step from the moment you wonder if we are right fit for your project! Once you've decided you'd like to see what we are all about, simply fill out the contact form on our website and let the fun work on our side begin!

Step 1 + 2: Discovery Call + Questionnaire
After you have completed our online form, our Intake Specialist Omara will connect with you to gather more details for your project to share with our team.
During your discovery call, you will receive a project questionnaire which you can fill out yourself or our Intake Specialist can help! The details in this form will help us discover whether or not our team is a good fit for your project(s), if an on-site visit is necessary, or if we can give you a virtual ballpark estimate right away.

Some projects require an On-Site visit. Here's a behind the scenes look at some of the information we gather at an On-Site Estimate:

🤳Photos and Videos of the project
⚠️ Potential issues with existing elements such as subfloor or damages
🚿⚡️Notes for existing plumbing, electrical and mechanical lines
🏠Mapping of the space for design and planning
Step 3: Estimate Review
Our internal team will review information to make sure we have all the necessary details to provide a formal estimate. Some projects will require a direct referral for additional services like design, structural, or architectural plans, and we will provide you those details before moving forward.
Step 4: Estimate process
Our Estimating Team will then review the
answers and information gathered in your discovery call, questionnaire, and/or site-visits to formalize an estimate for you to give you an idea of what your project will cost.
Step 5: Review + Revise
You will receive our estimate via email. Review it thoroughly. If any revisions need to be addressed, communicate that via email, by simply replying to your estimate. Our team will continue to follow up with you to ensure receipt of your estimate and schedule follow up steps.
Step 6: Approve
Once all your questions have been answered and the estimate is correct, please approve the bid within 14 days. Our Project Coordinator will send you an onboarding message to start your project process.
